Enterprise and entrepreneurship

• The Gilfillan Partnership was commissioned by Business Link Kent to carry out research and SWOT gap analyses of mainstream start up and social and community enterprise support in disadvantaged areas of Kent.

Equality and diversity

• The Gilfillan Partnership has carried out Equality Impact Assessments of the Enterprise Gateway service in the South East region, and the South East Innovation and Growth Teams.

• The Gilfillan partnership conducted a review of equalities in apprenticeships and developed an action plan for the national Learning and Skills Council to improve take up of apprenticeships by BME, women and disabled people. This review was commissioned by the national LSC Equality and Diversity Committee.

Social inclusion and community cohesion

• The Gilfillan Partnership has been commissioned by the QEC-European Regeneration Areas Network  to be an expert adviser on a series of URBACT projects through which European local authorities have developed social inclusion action plans.
