Colin is a founding Director of The Gilfillan Partnership.

His areas of expertise are in employment policy, enterprise development and business support, particularly for marginalised communities. Colin has considerable practical and policy level experience in these fields, both in the UK and across the European Union.   Colin has advised a range of UK Government departments and agencies on employment and enterprise issues. He also has an extensive experience of raising funds and developing and managing employment and enterprise initiatives.

Colin is a Member of the Institution of Economic Development. His qualifications include:

• BA, University of Edinburgh, 1976
• Postgraduate Certificate in Enterprise, University of Stirling, 1992
• Certificate in Lifelong Learning, Thames Valley University, 2003
